Kate’s research interests include complex humanitarian emergencies as well as global reproductive and sexual health, specifically among marginalized populations. She is a Paul D. Coverdell Peace Corps Fellow and serves as the Events and Outreach Coordinator for Emory’s Health Organization for Latin America.

Eve Brecker: All-Star Team Member
Eve’s career interests meet at the intersection of complex humanitarian emergencies and reproductive health in sub-Saharan Africa. She works as a Graduate Research Assistance with CDC’s International Emergency Preparedness Team and serves as the President of the Emory Global Health Organization.

Mariana assists the research team on the “Human Papillomavirus Vaccination in HPV: Perceptions and Implementation” project. Her research interests include vaccine preventable diseases, health and human rights, and access to healthcare.

Meredith’s research interests include global cancer prevention, HIV education, and human rights with a specific focus on how these issues relate to public policy. Prior to Emory, she worked for a Member of the United States House of Representatives and a large public health non-profit organization.
