Ellen Chiang received special recognition for her honors thesis . Her thesis, ’Those who love, vaccinate’: An Anthropological Perspective on HPV Vaccination in Brazil” was a part of the work done by the Global Health Institute multidisciplinary team supervised by Dr. Dabney Evans in summer 2014.

Dabney Evans receives the Crystal Apple Award
Dr. Dabney Evans received the Crystal Apple award for Excellence in Professional School Teaching. Dr. Evans was selected from over 400 nominations to receive this award. The Crystal Apple is the only university level teaching award at Emory given to teachers by students.
